Wakefield Rhubarb Festival: 17th – 23rd February
The first big calendar event for West Yorkshire 2020 is the rhubarb festival.
The Rhubarb Festival is held in Wakefield – one of the corners of Yorkshire’s Rhubarb Triangle. The Rhubarb Triangle is 9 square miles between Wakefield Morley and Rothwell. This area is famous for producing early Yorkshire Forced Rhubarb – which now has protected designation of origin status.
Celebrating all things Rhubarb, there is plenty to see and do, so please take a look at the event listing for further details.
